Integrated Construction Skills (200 hours)

After 2 weeks, you will gain a Certification in General Construction Core Curriculu, including employability skills.

After 5 weeks total, you will gain general knowledge and hands-on experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry and Glazing.

Construction is expected to add 5,400,000 jobs by 2024. Getting the accreditation skills now will allow various opportunities to become available in this industry, as the starting pay for an Assistant or Apprentice level position increases with experience. In conjunction with learning trade skills, this program will communicate what it takes to be a Project Manager, Site Supervisor, and Safety Technician, giving student both the insight and understanding to equip them for successful communication, as well as how to attain those opportunities, if interested. This program is not only designed to prepare students for the technical skills of the trades, but is also designed for work readiness, conflict resolution and leadership topics so students will have the skills necessary to both gain employment and continue to be successful in the workplace. Employer interviews and workshop assessments will be performed during the last week of this program.
