The Glazier Apprenticeship Program
This multifaceted program includes 150 hours of a hybrid training environment, including self-paced online education using the National Glass Assocation's MyGlassClass, along with live virtual training and in-person workshops led by Subject Matter Experts in the glass & glazing industry. Upon registration approval, each participant will receive a link to the MyGlassClass and a schedule for each the virtual and in-person workshops.
This program meets the Department of Labor's Apprenticeship with classroom training, paired with On-The-Job training. Students will be prepared for job qualifications and advancement in the Glass & Glazing industry.
Hybrid Education Plan
These areas of education can be taken based on students schedule. Subjects include Introduction to the Glass & Glazing Trade, Jobsite Tools & Equipment, Glass Fabrication, Metal Fabrication & Sealants, and Systems & Codes.

Online

86 Hours of self-paced online training. Upon registration, NGA will send each student an email with a username/password linked to their MyGlassClass online platform. Each student will receive a book on systems & codes which accounts for the majority of the training hours (~62 estimated hours) with online testing.​

24 Hours of online training with a live instructor. Upon registration, student will have access to a schedule in which they can sign up for topics throughout the program.​
